School Media Reviews for the Passages Crew
We are happy to share that some of students' favorite stress free reads are now available on Sora, thanks to Literacy for Incarcerated Teens (LIT). Students can now lose themselves in the cuteness of Boo, the wonderment of the Power of Birthdays, the inspiration of Kwame Alexander's life lessons, and the hilarity of joke books.--Jessica Fenster-Sparber
We are the library team at Passages Academy, the New York City Department of Education school for incarcerated and detained youth. Our goal is to build a culture of literacy at our school in a variety of ways, including talking more about what we're reading and what we're teaching, and how students respond to these materials.
